July 28: Mentions, Org Chart, and Absence Deduction 🗣️

As July draws to a close, we want to share three new features that will improve your experience with flair.

🆕 New Features

Employee mentions: 🗣️ Make sure your comments are heard! You can now mention your colleagues in the Hub. Tag teammates anywhere that you can leave a comment by typing @ and searching for their name. Tagged colleagues will receive a notification. If they do not have permission to view the content, you will receive an alert.

Org chart in Salesforce: 🏢 Introducing another way of viewing your organization's structure. In the flair HR app on Salesforce, we've added a new tab to employee records called Org Chart. Open it to see a visual representation of how employees are related to each other.

🚀 Improvements

Absences based on FTE percentage: We've improved how absence days are deducted for part-time employees with varying working hours. To calculate time-off accurately, go to an absence category in flair HR and check the box labelled FTE-Based Absence Calculation. Then you need to edit your existing workloads to define the length of a full working day for one FTE (e.g. 8 hours). Now absences will be deducted properly.
